Europiano Festival on Arte

On June 21, World Music Day, Arte will broadcast "Europiano”, an eight hour concerto marathon celebrating some of the greatest European piano concertos played by world renowned artists, including Martha Argerich. The broadcast’s grand finale is Ukrainian composer Borys Lyatoshynsky's "Slavic Concerto" with Ukrainian pianist Maksym Shadko, and accompanied by members of the Kyiv Camerata and Kyiv Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Keri-Lynn Wilson. The concert was recorded on June 3rd in Kyiv’s Philharmonic Hall between air attacks on the city.
